The Anti-extradition Law movement in Hong Kong has been going on for more than 5 months. Throughout these months, Hong Kong police force has been using excessive violence to suppress citizens including sexual violence. This kind of means is always used by regimes to oppress people not only in Hong Kong, which means it is a critical issue globally as well. Therefore, we are going to hold a panel discussion on November 28th 7-9pm at Jackman Law building, where people will be able to gain more insights into sexual violence as a form of oppression in global political movements. On that day, there will be professionals lecturing us about the above topics, including Ashley Major, Karen B.K. Chan and Elene Lam. Feel free to attend!
Date: November 28th
Location: Room P115, Jackman Law Building, 78 Queens Park ***sensitive content alert: sexual violence, police brutality, political oppression
