One of the most breathtaking nights in the mountains ever. Tricky flying to Sari Pass, we set up our tents at 3500m and then it all shut down, hailed on us then rained heavily so we simply played backgammon in a tent. And then it all cleared, we went outside and the silence just hammered our ears, we could hear only our breathing so we held our breathes, and then it was only the beat of our hearts... And then the Himalayan sky showed what it had, huge clouds, towering monsters, dispersing, changing their shapes and colors throughout the sunset, purple, orange, blue, transforming every minute. Finally the night fell and Milky Way came out, billions of stars and galaxies hanging above our fire and connection. There was nowhere else to be, nothing else to long for, just this moment in life.
